Svētdien, 21. maijā Kaņepes Kultūras centrā, Skolas ielā 15, no plkst. 13 00 līdz 17 00  norisināsies pasākums “Meet, Greet & Eat” (“Satiekamies, iepazīstamies un ēdam”), kur aicinām tuvāk iepazīties ar patvēruma meklētājiem, bēgļiem un alternatīvo statusu ieguvušajiem cilvēkiem Latvijā caur gatavošanas meistarklasēm, spēlēm, radošām aktivitātēm un citām izklaidēm.
No plkst. 15 00 interesentiem būs iespēja uzklausīt Dzīvās bibliotēkas ar rīdziniekiem, patvēruma meklētājiem un bēgļiem atmiņu un pieredzes stāstus, piespiedu kārtā vai labprātīgi dodoties prom no mītnes valsts un sastopoties ar svešu, sev neierastu vidi.

Movement “I Want to Help Refugees” on Sunday, 21st of May at Kaņepes Kultūras centrs, Skolas 15, form 13 00 until 17 00  invites you to join our friendly culture-exchange Sunday during which we’ll get to know each other a little better. Living Library with stories from refugees and locals this time will also be a part of this event.

We’ll start already at 1PM with cooking classes together with Hummus Team. The plan is to learn together how to cook some amazing dishes from Arab countries and also to prepare a local delicacy - the cold beetroot soup.
